Mary Wong

Mary began her journey into jewelry making as a student of Professor Max Nixon at the University of Oregon. His ability to make and repair anything inspired her to follow suit and explore various metalsmithing materials and techniques.

After exhibiting original work in various craft fairs on the west coast and working in a few different retail stores Mary returned to Portland and happened to meet Debbie and Kathe. Soon, the trio was exhibiting together at the Creative Metal Arts Guild Show, and it seemed their fate was sealed. Trios Studio would eventually be created as a result.

Mary loves working with clients to develop pieces that express a personal style and sharing knowledge about the materials and processes involved in the work.
